The Language of Flowers

Before my mom passed away, she was highly involved in the local garden club…  serving as president a few years.    In thanks, the club gave her the book Tussie Mussies: The Victorian Art of Expressing Yourself in Flowers by Geraldine Adamich Laufer, which is now in a special place on one of my bookshelves.  When the book called The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh showed up on the NPR Paperback Bestsellers, I had to read it.  It blew me away.

Warning:  I treat myself to pedicures from time-to-time.  I finished this book during one.  I know everyone in the place thought, “Why are tears streaming down that lady’s face?”  It was that good of a book.
